Aragami: Shadow Edition was revealed earlier this year to be arriving for PC, PS4, and debuting onto the Xbox One in June 2018. In August 2018 a Switch trailer launched announcing the Aragami: Shadow Edition would be arriving on Nintendo Switch with the trailer ending with “Coming Soon”.
However, it seems that Switch users will now have to wait until next year as the below Tweet was posted by developer Lince Works:
The Nintendo #Switch version of Aragami: Shadow Edition will be postponed to opening months of 2019.
We want to make sure it lives up to your, and our, expectations, and for that we need a little bit more time.
We hope you understand our position and thank you for your support!— Lince Works (@LinceWorks) November 12, 2018
Earlier this year, publisher Merge Games stated that the Shadow Edition was said to have sold over 500,000 copies on the available platforms. Switch players will not only be receiving additional content, but also cross-platform co-op with PC, and Xbox One users.
The original title launched in 2016 and found players taking control of an assassin from a third-person perspective. The Shadow Edition includes the base game and the previously released Assassin’s Masks DLC. It will also include the Nightfall expansion that adds a new story to explore, expanding the game more.
Aragami: Shadow Edition will now arrive on the Nintendo Switch sometime during the opening months of 2019. It’s currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
