Once upon a time, my generation of gamers used to simulate epic battles among mechs on hexagon-based maps laid on the top of our tables. It was the time of Battletech, Aerotech, and Mechwarrior. It was the time in which our guiding stars weren’t named Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft, but FASA, Games Workshop, and TSR.
That time will at least in small part come back thanks to Harebrained Schemes and Paradox, that are bringing Battletech back to our PCs as a turn-based strategy game, which is the genre to which the franchise truly belongs.
Today, the release date has been announced, and we’ll finally bl able to play the game on April 24th.
