Today Square Enix announced with a press release that quite a few changes are going to be made to its executive team.
The following Executive Officers have been appointed to the position of Director and Executive Officer, entering the company’s board of directors. You’ll probably recognize a few names among them.
- Yoshinori Kitase (Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Producer)
- Yosuke Saito (Dragon Quest series and NieR Automata Producer)
- Michihiro Sasaki
- Hirokazu Nishikado
- Shinji Hashimoto (Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts Brand Manager)
- Yu Miyake
- Naoki Yoshida (Producer and Director of Final Fantasy XIV)
- Kazuharu Watanabe
The new positions will come into effect on April 1st.
Yosuke Matsuda remains at the helm as President and Chief Executive Officer, while Executive Vice President Keiji Honda and Yukinobu Chida, who has been a member of the board of directors for many years, decided to retire as of March 31st.
